Create your workspace

A workspace holds your feedback boards, roadmap, changelog, team members, and public portal settings.

Start a workspace

1. Create a Sey account.
2. Choose a short workspace name and URL.
3. Add the name and description users should see on your portal.
4. Create your first feedback board.

Your generated portal is available on a *.sey.so address. You can connect a custom domain later without changing how your content is organized.

Choose a useful first board

Start with a board that has a clear purpose. A broad Product feedback board works for most early-stage teams. If you already receive a lot of feedback, split it by product area so users know where an idea belongs.

Good board names are short and recognizable:

• Product feedback
• Mobile app
• Integrations
• Developer experience

Add your teammates

Invite the people who triage requests, make product decisions, or publish updates. A small group with clear ownership is usually better than inviting everyone immediately.

Share the board

Link directly to the board from your help menu, customer community, or support replies. If users should stay inside your app, continue with Install the widget.
